Indigent Services Committee Information
The Circuit Indigent Services Committee is responsible for setting the qualifications and procedures for court appointed counsels, maintaining the registries of court appointed counsels, and managing due process costs. The following administrative orders provide this circuit's policies, procedures, and rates for court appointed counsel, expert witnesses, other expenses such as interpreter and court reporting costs, and the use and maintenance of the circuit's registries. The Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Indigent Services Committee meets at least quarterly to entertain court appointed counsel application and to discuss policy and procedural issues related to due process costs that impact the State of Florida.
